TGL Innovations wasn't born in a boardroom—it was born out of frustration, rejection, and a refusal to accept "no" as a final answer.
I'm Remel, founder and owner of TGL Innovations. I'm a 20-year U.S. Navy veteran who served from 1990 to 2010 in roles ranging from Gas Turbine Systems Engineer to Navy Corrections Specialist and Substance Abuse Counselor. I migrated from the Philippines in 1990 and dedicated two decades to serving this country with discipline, integrity, and commitment to mission success.
When I retired from the Navy in 2010, I thought the hardest battles were behind me. I was wrong.
The Struggle That Changed Everything
After retiring, I faced challenge after challenge trying to launch and fund my own business. Traditional banks turned me down repeatedly—not because I lacked the drive, the plan, or the work ethic, but because I didn't fit their narrow criteria. My credit wasn't perfect. My business was too new. The banks wanted collateral I didn't have and equity I wasn't willing to give up.
From 2010 to 2022, I lived in the Philippines, trying to rebuild and regroup after those post-military job and business struggles. I returned to California in 2023, determined to make it work—but the same bank rejections kept coming.
That's when everything changed.

Remel is the founder and owner of TGL Innovations LLC, a veteran-owned business funding brokerage based in Woodland Hills, California.
Military Background:
Remel served 20 years in the U.S. Navy (1990-2010) in multiple critical roles including Gas Turbine Systems Engineer, Navy Corrections Specialist, and Substance Abuse Counselor. His military career taught him discipline, problem-solving under pressure, and a commitment to mission success—values he brings to every client interaction.
Entrepreneurial Journey:
After retiring from the Navy, Remel faced the same funding challenges many entrepreneurs experience: bank rejections, credit obstacles, and a system that seemed designed to keep small businesses out. Rather than giving up, he discovered alternative funding strategies and used them to launch TGL Innovations in 2024, becoming his own first success story.
Personal Philosophy:
